Who we are

The pieces

Every piece is one of one, made by hand from salvaged steel and old wood. Marks of age, wear and small differences from the photos are part of what it is, not defects. Dimensions and weights are measured by hand and may vary by a few millimetres or grams. Prices are in euros and include all taxes [VAT NOTE]. Delivery is not included unless we say so.

Holding a piece

“Hold it for 7 days” is free and binds neither of us. It keeps the piece off the market for you while we talk; only one person can hold a piece at a time. If we don’t agree on a sale within the 7 days, the hold ends by itself. We may also end a hold early, for example if we can’t reach you.

Buying a piece

1. After you hold a piece (or write to us), we contact you to agree on the price, delivery and payment.
2. The sale is concluded when we confirm it to you in writing (by email) and you accept.
3. You pay by bank transfer before delivery, in cash when you collect the piece from the workshop, or cash on delivery by courier, whichever we agree. Card payments will follow.
4. We mark the piece as sold on the site.

Delivery and collection

You can collect your piece from the workshop by appointment. We can also deliver it, ourselves or by courier, to [DELIVERY AREA]; we agree the cost and date with you before the sale. The piece is yours, and at your risk, from the moment it is handed to you.

Your right of withdrawal (14 days)

If you bought a piece at a distance (by email, phone or through this site, without visiting the workshop), you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason.

• How: tell us clearly, for example by email to [email protected]. You can use the form at the end of this page, but you don’t have to.
• Returning the piece: send it back, or hand it to us, within 14 days of telling us, in the condition you received it. You pay the cost of returning it; for large pieces of furniture this can be around [RETURN COST ESTIMATE], and we can arrange the transport for you at cost.
• Your money back: we refund everything you paid, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of hearing from you, by the same means you paid. We may wait until we have the piece back.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to commissions made to your specifications, or to sales concluded in person at the workshop.

Legal guarantee

Like every consumer purchase in the EU, your piece comes with the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery. If something is wrong that we didn’t tell you about, write to us and we will repair it, replace a part, or, if that isn’t possible, reduce the price or refund you.

Lamps are wired for 230 V. Use the type and power of bulb stated for the piece, and have any electrical changes made by a qualified electrician.

Commissions

A commission starts with your brief. We reply with ideas and a quote; once you accept it, we agree the details, any deposit and the timing in writing. Because a commission is made to your specifications, it can’t be returned under the right of withdrawal, but the legal guarantee applies in full.

The website

The photos, drawings and texts on this site are ours. Please don’t reuse them without asking. We do our best to keep the information here accurate, but a price or detail may occasionally be wrong; we will always confirm before you buy.

Questions and complaints

Write to [email protected] and we will reply within [X] working days. If we can’t resolve it together, you can turn to the Romanian consumer protection authority, ANPC (anpc.ro), or to an alternative dispute resolution body (SAL, anpc.ro/ce-este-sal).

These terms are governed by Romanian law. If you live in another EU country, you keep the consumer protection its law gives you.
